Better Sound Smaller Speakers

Webinar: Better Sound, Smaller Speakers

Recorded on Thursday, March 14, 2019 - 3:30pm ET/12:30pm PT

Md Mehedi - Sr. Application Development Engineer, Consumer Electronics

Bernadette Corujo - Director of Business Development, Consumer Electronics

How can designers improve the sound quality of next generation audio products when the market is demanding smaller devices? Doesn't better sound require bigger speakers? Not necessarily.

One approach to this challenge is to re-evaluate the materials being used.

Alloy materials used within speakers to conduct sound has not changed drastically in the last 10-15 years. However, developments in the performance of soft-magnetic alloys can replace standard electrical iron and provide higher efficiency and performance. The result is better sound quality, smaller devices, extended battery life, and even cost savings.

Join our webinar to learn about high performance soft-magnetic material solutions that can improve sound quality and size requirements that your customers are asking for. Technical details and modeling data will be presented to demonstrate output improvements.
