High Expansion 72

High Expansion 72 is a non-ferrous manganese-copper-nickel alloy that will anneal fully at temperatures between 1202°F and 1472°F (650 and 800°C) because of its low melting point. Severe oxidation at high temperatures due to its high manganese content, this alloy is usually annealed in protective atmospheres or vacuums.
