Tophet® Alloy A

Tophet® Alloy A is an 80% nickel 20% chromium alloy used at temperatures up to 2150°F (1175°C) with a resistance to most acids and alkaline solutions. It is the most resistant of all the Tophet® alloys in a carburizing atmosphere and is nonmagnetic with a high resistivity (650 ohms cm/f). The temperature coefficient for resistance (TCR) for standard Tophet Alloy A in the range of 25/250°C is 0.000085 ohms/ohm/°C (85 parts per million).
